Lambton Estate

Our various works on the Lambton Estate, the historic seat of the Earls of Durham, continue. We are employed to offer our extensive experience, guidance and work on the Grade 1 & 2 buildings over the sprawling parkland. Traditional lime applications are employed on most of the buildings, as years of the trend of repointing and plastering in non-breathable modern cements & plasters are trapping moisture in solid walls.

This requires a thought to how these buildings were originally built, with many of the heritage skills lost. Thankfully, these traditional skills are one of our specialities and what we thrive to work on.
